Founded in 1965, THE INDUSTRIAL STORE brings more than 60 years of workplace safety tradition. Acquired in 1985 by Micheline and Pierre La Rochelle, the company built recognized expertise in the distribution and sale of work uniforms, safety footwear and personal protective equipment.
A vast inventory
In 2005, THE INDUSTRIAL STORE moved into its new building at 565 rue Principale in Granby. With a sales floor four times larger than its former premises, customers can now enjoy a much wider selection in the setting of a one-of-a-kind worker’s store.
The next generation
In 2012, under the guidance of Pierre Larochelle, management of THE INDUSTRIAL STORE was taken over by Sébastien Mailhot as the new general manager. In 2015, Sébastien Mailhot acquired the company and became its new president.
