THE INDUSTRIAL STORE, located at 565-2 rue Principale, Granby (Quebec), is responsible for the personal information collected through its autravail.ca website and its store. 2. Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary to manage your account, process your orders and improve your experience. Depending on the situation, this may include the following information:

• First and last name, shipping and billing address, email address and phone number.
• Order information (products purchased, sizes, amounts, purchase history).
• Payment information, processed securely by our providers and never stored on our servers.
• Browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) collected through cookies.

3. Use of your information

Your information is used to process and deliver your orders, manage your customer account, send you order confirmations and updates, respond to your customer service requests and, with your consent, send you our newsletters and promotions. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Stripe and PayPal payments

Online payments are processed by our partners Stripe and PayPal. When you make a purchase, your payment information (card number, expiry date, security code) is transmitted directly and encrypted to these providers, which comply with the PCI DSS security standard. THE INDUSTRIAL STORE never has access to your full card numbers and does not store them. Data processing by Stripe and PayPal is governed by their own privacy policies, which we invite you to review.

6. Sharing with third parties

Your information may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf: carriers (including Purolator) for delivery, payment providers for transactions and technology providers for site hosting. These partners are required to protect your information and to use it only for the agreed purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law.

7. Retention and security

We keep your information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We put in place reasonable physical, technological and administrative security measures to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access.

8. Your rights under Law 25

In accordance with Quebec’s Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: view the information we hold about you.
• Right of rectification: have inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information corrected.
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to the use of your information, in particular for marketing communications.
• Right to portability: obtain, in a structured technological format, the computerized information you have provided to us.
• Right to file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
